Environmental policy

Crafting chemistry responsibly

At Technikraft, we believe great chemistry shouldn’t cost the earth. We’re committed to reducing our environmental impact, operating responsibly, and continually improving the way we work — for our people, our customers, and our planet.

Our commitment

We dedicate the time, expertise, and resources needed to manage and improve our environmental performance. That means monitoring what we do, making meaningful changes, and holding ourselves accountable for measurable progress.

What we focus on

  • Reducing energy use – investing in efficient equipment and energy-saving technology.

  • Using recyclable and sustainable materials wherever possible.

  • Selecting eco-friendly alternatives to traditional raw materials and processes.

  • Preventing pollution through proactive maintenance and careful process design.

  • Partnering responsibly – choosing suppliers and subcontractors who share our environmental standards.

  • Managing waste properly, with strict control over disposal and recycling.

  • Being prepared – maintaining procedures for any environmental emergency.

  • Complying fully with all relevant environmental legislation and licensing.

  • Limiting noise and disruption from our operations.

  • Protecting local habitats and biodiversity around our sites.

  • Staying informed and proactive, through regular reviews, training, and engagement with environmental bodies.

How we manage it

Environmental performance is reviewed as part of our wider management process, involving our Directors, Safety Advisors, and Safety Committee. Every employee plays a part — staying alert to environmental risks, reporting concerns, and contributing to better ways of working.

We also carry out regular supplier audits and product reviews to identify safer, cleaner, and more sustainable practices.

Training and resources

We invest in training and provide the resources needed to ensure our team can deliver on these commitments effectively. Environmental care isn’t a one-off project — it’s part of how we do things every day.
